Chapter 2
August 18th 2022

I ran as fast as I could, with guards dead on my trail. As I ran the alarm sounded and I knew I had to get out. I laid a trap for the guards by simply taking hiding and taking out an ordinary hammer.  I smashed the tiles on the ground making the ground sharp, and ridged. This alter me with the crunching sound when the guards ran over it. I looked for a column and began to climb up it. With me was the key to this confusing plan. I held a ball of high pressureized tear gas covered in a few millimeters of aluminum. Of the kind that could pop if thrown on the ground. The very distinctive crunching sound ripped right though the silence.as that happened I dropped my tear gas bomb and pulled a paper gas mask out of my backpack. With that I made my leave.

My companion and partner in crime had been waiting for me in the shadows of a large pepper tree. We started our mission with a delay and now it's ending with one. As the car was starting it sputtered and hiccuped.  After a good ten minutes of engine truoble we had finally gotten somewhere.

One week earlier

I  had started my day off great just for it to be put down, again

" I've got the worst mission possible!" My friend Harry Carmichael complained to me.

Chapter 1

          August 18th 2022

The security guards were about to start the night shift."Right on time" I thought to myself. I watched from the ceiling how the day guard, waited for his shift to end and for the night watch to take his place.  I watched him yawn, his mouth widened ,as many thick and young wrinkles formed around his mouth. He closed the large  metal doors, once those were closed, nobody got in and nobody got out. Sleepily, the guard walked down the hall to go home. Before he cut the corner and walked down the hall, I threw a plain round copper ball. Right after the clink I would imagine the guard running to where the sound was made, however, he went from moving at the pace of a snail, to moving at the pace of a turtle. You could say it was that very guard's fault that the U.S army was now in my father's control.

Before the door completely closed I slipped in quietly.  I sprinted down the hall as quiet as possible. The tap-tap-tap noise of my sock-like shoes hitting the ground started to grow in sound. I realized how loud it was towards the final stretch of the hallway. I then knew I had to move, and fast. I pulled out a body bag, set it in a corner and hid in it. The night watch almost instantly came to where I was.

I then remarked to myself "If ten night watchers were ready to come here, then there is a tighter hold on this place than I had thought."

" One of me, an overflow of them." I murmured to myself.

I quickly opened my body bag, unveiling myself shouted " Oh, gosh this seems fair " sarcastically.
